Riding to: The Rally/Bede Park

Distance: 3 Miles each way

Riding Time: 30 minutes in each direction

About the ride: We will be taking a wondering route to two of Leicester's smaller parks; Bede and the Rally. Along the way we will pass through Abby park and take in some pieces of Leicester's History. At Bede park there will be a break and some time to enjoy the park for a little bit before heading back through the historic part of Leicester's city Center.

The ride will be led by our ride leaders and will be at a gentle pace allowing you to take in the scenery as we go. The ride will be on paved cycle tracks and paths, with no road riding. We will be crossing a couple of main roads using signal crossings.

Who is this ride suitable for? This ride is suitable for anyone who can ride a bike comfortably. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+) and we would advise that children under the age of 8 may struggle unless they are in a trailer, using a Tagalog or other suitable assistance.

What to bring:

-A bike in good working order

-Suitable clothes including a jacket incase it rains

-A Helmet (we have some you can borrow if you wish)

-Some money as the ice cream truck might be at Bede Park
