Leicester Cycling Awards 2021
We are super proud to have hosted the first ever Leicester Cycling Awards at the start of 2022. There were so many amazing people nominated at cycling heros in our 5 different award categories.
The awards will be back next year and they will be bigger and better than before. Do check out all the nominees and winners on this page.

Someone who has started or come back to cycling in 2021
Prize for winner: XLC mulitool and a free bike service
We want to recognise someone who encourages or enables others to cycle in their community; be it an area of the city, a school or workplace or any other community of Leicester.
Prize for winner: XLC light set and a custom-built bike rack, pannier rack or similarly valued custom modification from Flux bike Co
The coolest bike (and rider) in Leicester - a photo is required for this nomination.
Prize for winner: Green Oil bike cleaner and a test ride on our Chike
An organisation that works hard to encourage people to take up cycling for transport or leisure no matter their background,
Prize for winner: A cycling experience for your team

Prize for the winner: A free bike service and 10% at Northside Bikes for the whole of 2022 (excludes bike purchases)
Terms and conditions:
1. You cannot nominate yourself or and organisation you work for
2. You cannot nominate Northside Bikes. As the host, main sponsor and promotor of the awards this would be in bad taste. You may nominate an employee or volunteer for their work at Northside Bikes or with another organisation - our people are awesome and we think all their work deserves recognition. We will not nominate them.
3. Nominations and voting can only take place on this website. Nominations on social media while appreciated and helpful for promoting the awards will not be counted.
4. Northside Bikes reserves the right to moderate nominations that do not fit into the awards categories by either rejecting nominations outright or changing the nomination category.
5. Award prizes cannot be exchanged for cash, vouchers or other prizes. Prizes not claimed within 60 days will be withdrawn.
6. Northside Bikes reserves the right to shortlist entries before the public vote.
